Points For Survey Is This Site Legit?

Online surveys are the most common and popular ways in which people attempt to make money online.

There are thousands of survey sites online and each one promises to reward you for providing them with your opinions.

But does this site actually deliver on that promise?

This review has been researched with information and testimonials that are available online in the public domain

Points for Surveys is run by Dynata, a global leader in research data.

and is a survey community that is exclusively created for members of the TrueBlue frequent flyer program of JetBlue Airways.

Unfortunately, this online panel is open only to residents of the United States

With Points for Surveys, take surveys and share your opinions to collect TrueBlue points.

How Does Point for Survey Works

Survey invitations are sent out on a regular basis, but cannot say who or when any member will receive invitations.

Depending on your profile, we may ask you to complete surveys more or less often

It is very important to keep your profile as up-to-date as possible.

Once you complete a survey, which usually takes about 10 – 15 minutes to finish, the rewarded TrueBlue points will be directly deposited into your TrueBlue Program account.

The points offered to vary with each survey and differ according to length and complexity.

Register and Receive 400 TrueBlue Points

As a special gift, when you register you will automatically receive 400 TrueBlue Points immediately after completing your first survey!

You can also earn badges

How do badges work?

Badges are awarded to members who activate their account, continue to take surveys regularly, fill out their survey profile, and earn TrueBlue® points.

There are five levels, Bronze for beginners, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and our highest level, Diamond.

At every level, there are key achievements (known as badges) awarded for your survey activity.

The membership levels are related to aspects of your membership, focusing on activities like taking surveys and earning TrueBlue® points.

You need to earn thousands of points to make it really worth your while, remember like all surveys there are disqualifications.(1000 points is equal to about $37)

How do I level up?

You can level up by completing all the achievements available at your current level in a 365 day period.
How do I maintain my badge status?

To maintain your badge status, you must ensure that you continue to take surveys regularly – at least once a week.

If you do not maintain your survey activity, your badge for consecutive surveys over one, two, three or four weeks will be lost and you’ll drop to the next level down.

You must keep your survey profile updated as some sections may  expire over time,

If you notice your profile drop in percentage since you last logged in, check and make sure your profile is 100% complete.

My Thoughts

People are trying different means of earning extra cash to help with their expenses, as the cost of living has rocketed and as of this post, people have lost their jobs or are forced to close their businesses.

The popular way to try to earn money is online, and one of the favored ways to make money online is by doing surveys or other small tasks from a GPT site.

But to make any kind of substantial money participating in these online opportunities will not allow you to earn anything substantial.

There is another way to make a decent living online, and that is affiliate marketing.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is an advertising model in which a company compensates third-party publishers to generate traffic or leads to the company’s products and services. The third-party publishers are affiliates, and the commission fee incentivizes them to find ways to promote the company.

Affiliate marketing is not a get-rich-quick endeavor, it is going to take some work and patience but it can be done.

What Are The Benefits Of Affiliate Marketing?

The benefits are many, but I will list a few:

  • No huge startup costs!
  • No selling face to face!
  • No stock to keep or manage!
  • No recruitment involved!
  • No taking of endless surveys!
  • No huge investment involved – (Get started for FREE)
  • And no working for someone else!
  • You can operate in any market you wish! – even your hobbies & passions!
  • Earn a full-time income & more!. No limit to your earning potential!.

You may be saying you have no knowledge of affiliate marketing, well not to worry there is (in my opinion) the very best training platform WEALTHY AFFILIATE.

This company has been around since 2005 and has members from around the globe, it has a very good reputation, and has produced many super-affiliates, they have the very best community that is very active, friendly and helpful.

With the free membership, you will get 10 lessons a website and domain (for a time) you need not be an expert you will become an expert you have nothing to lose to just try it is FREE

Thank you for your time. I do appreciate it, have you done any surveys from survey sites, what was your experience? I really would like to hear your thoughts on taking surveys, I appreciate your questions and comments. And please share.

I.NOTE:  This post includes affiliate links, which, if clicked on and a product purchased, I get a small commission (with no increase in cost to you)

Not good anymore

June 28, 2020, by Deanne from the United States

I am a LONG time member of Points for Surveys… I hung with them after they made a big change to their program.

I enjoyed taking their surveys – Got a lot of Jet Blue points over the years.

BUT something is going on there. Now, when you do surveys, a LOT of times you will complete a LOT of screens and give a LOT of data to the marketing firms and then you will get tossed out of the survey as “not qualified” even though you gave them EVERYTHING – this is CHEATING! I complained about this to POS customer relations and all I got was garbage answers & finally, a supervisor responded who also never really answered the core question, but threw me some “bonus points” for the inconvenience.

That same day, I noticed I no longer was receiving any of the “Special Member” high bonus invitations to surveys, so I think they have now retaliated against me for questioning the status quo.

Meanwhile, I keep getting throw out of surveys at the end. I am SAD as this has been part of my life for several years, but I guess I will have to leave, as they obviously do not value my input or appreciate questions about how they run their program.

A very fair survey operation

Drawbacks: Often the surveys last much longer than the initially promised time.

You will often answer numerous questions in a survey (beyond the initial demographic questions) and then get kicked out for unknown reasons,

but – and this is the main reason for my 4-star rating – you will almost always receive partial points for the answers you submitted – for example, you’ll get 10 points for a survey that promised anywhere from 30 to 100 points.

So you don’t feel that you’re wasting your time. I have not had any problem redeeming rewards either.

It’s run by JetBlue which is a pretty reputable company from my experience. And I don’t experience getting terminated that often from a survey.

However, I don’t highly recommend as highly their sister survey, JetOpinions.

With those, you sometimes get measly points (like 3) after providing time-consuming and thoughtful answers to their questions before being kicked off a survey, and the ratio of surveys I’m kicked out of by JetOpinions is MUCH higher than Points for Surveys.

Gone Crazy

July 9, 2018, by Paul from the United States

I have been taking Points for Survey for quite a while without a problem.

Recently, however, they have gone crazy sending as manyas 15 survey requests a day.

I wish they would stop. I unrolled from their survey site but to no avail, they keep coming.

Great survey company

April 29, 2018, by Yuri from the United States

I am shocked to see how others gave 1-2 stars for this company.

In fact, these people apparently don’t even read the rules or they leave a review intended for some other survey site.

One person is talking about gift cards and hacked accounts.

What gift cards, exactly? Pointsforsurveys.com doesn’t give any gift cards to the responders, Instead, it simply transfers your points straight to your Jetblue FF account.

Another person complains that he got only 50 points for 10 disqualifications during a day.

It is clearly stated by the company that 10 points are awarded for the first 5 survey disqualifications only per 24 hours.

It is easy not to read the rules and then blame the company, but how about doing some homework first?.

While pointsforsurveys.com is not perfect, of course, it does what it promises.

Moreover, this is the only survey company known to me that does the direct transfer of your earned points into your JetBlue account instantly.

My wife and I accumulated about 35000 JetBlue miles in just 4 months just answering pointsforsurveys.com surveys.

This is enough for the average 3 round trips on JetBlue. I think they are doing a good job, I give them almost 5 stars!

They do have some technical issues they have to resolve though.

If you want to waste your time

April 25, 2017, by Alex from the United States

Surveys that take forever that you ultimately do not qualify for.

That gives you error messages, that include hundreds of questions and at the end of it all – nothing to show for it!

Then, when I canceled my account – they offered another survey, ha! Took me for a sucker – until I canceled

  1. I was a very active member for 5 years. I had time and I only fly JetBlue so it was a perfect match. One day I received an email informing I was no longer going to allowed to continue taking surveys. I requested to know why and was given no concrete answers. It was implied I cheated! I was thinking about suing them for libel but didn’t think they were worth my time.

    1. Hi Rita, I am so sorry to hear about your experience with Points for survey, I use to take surveys too but found it to be a waste of my time, maybe you could try something else, there are many opportunities to make money online, there is affiliate marketing it is not as easy as doing surveys and the rewards do not come overnight but if you stick with it the rewards can be great if you are interested in trying for free please click on this link https://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/a_aid/5373fe86/campaign/freememberprogram
