Acumen Panel Review A Good Panel But It’s Only For The Irish
There are thousands of sites online, and each promises to reward you for participating in a program offered. But does this site deliver on that promise?
This review is written based on the information and testimonials that are available online in the public domain.
Acumen Online is the Behaviour & Attitudes consumer panel. That provides research services to a range of Irish and international companies, advertising professionals, media publishers, etc.
Acumen Online has been conducting market research for over 30 years.
National Consumer Panel Review Is this a waste of time?
In this post, I will be looking at another type of survey panel it is a bit different from the rest, but none the less a way to earn some good rewards.
National Consumer Panel
6800 Jericho Turnpike Suite 102E, Syosset, NY 11791 US
The National Consumer Panel (NCP) is a joint venture between Nielsen and IRi – the two leading consumer insight providers in the United States. We are a market research panel that focuses on measuring consumer attitudes and behavior.
Since 1987 (as Nielsen Homescan, then in 2010 as National Consumer Panel), we have been gathering panel member’s opinions and shopping data to help manufacturers and retailers make informed decisions on what products to develop, improve or sell in the market. Our Panel is made up of people just like you, a diverse cross-section of consumers from all over the country.
You will be asked for a good amount of information regarding your shopping trips. NCP is the premier market research company that retailers and manufacturers have come to rely upon to make product availability decisions for consumers across the country. They can only make these decisions thanks to the critical information that you share with us.
How does the National Consumer Panel work

– By sharing their shopping trip information: Using NCPMobile, NCP Panel members enter details about the items they purchase. This may include store name, price details, whether coupons or club cards were used, and/or how the purchase was paid for and more.

information on non-bar coded items that you purchased, such as fruits and vegetables, meats, baked goods, and prescriptions.
details about your shopping trips, like the store you went to, items purchased online, whether you used a club/shopper, and the prices of the items you purchased. This data is both valuable and crucial to product manufacturers and retailers looking to ensure the products you want and love are readily available.
– By participating in surveys: Panel members will be invited to take part in surveys on a variety of topics. In any given week you might be asked about snack habits, household cleaners, pain relief products, etc. In most cases, survey participation earns panel members additional rewards.
Surveys are an important part of panel membership, giving you yet another way Earn reward points, sweepstakes entries, and other prizes by taking surveys!
– By taking part in special studies: from time to time, NCP conducts special studies you may be invited to. What Are Rewards

Panel members can also redeem reward points towards merchandise in our exclusive gift catalog (accessible through our panel member website).

For every week you participate, you will earn points. I am not sure of how many points you will receive or how exactly the points are rewarded
There are reports that the points are around 20-50 points per item you scan. And there are also reports the points rewarded are 150 per week.
When Will Be Able To Redeem My Rewards

My thoughts
I know you are here because you are looking for ways to make some extra money, but if all you want is a few dollars or some gift then you can become a member of a survey platform, and National Consumer panel is one of the good ones.
But if you are looking for something that in time will become a source of real financial gain then I would suggest another form of making money online,
One of the best methods I would recommend is online marketing but It doesn’t matter what method you end up using to generate an income online, you need to adjust your mindset to help empower rather than discourage you.
If you’re at all serious about generating a full-time income and possibly more from your online activities, then you need to focus on passive income rather than just an active income.
An active income will help you survive from day-to-day. But it’s a passive income that will keep on providing even when you can no longer work
Therefore you should spend most of your time and effort pursuing a passive income if you’re serious about generating any semblance of income.
I think the wise thing to do is to pursue a passive income, while also working on active income.
There are loads of ways to generate an income passively on the internet, many of which start at the foundation of having a blog, generating substantial traffic, and building an audience and a list.
The good news is you do not need to be an expert. There is a platform that is built for newbies and professionals the lesson is given in a timely manner and there are loads of assistance, and you can become a member for free. NEED TO KNOW MORE CLICK HERE.
I have some reviews I got from the Survey police site
February 1, 2020 by Jennifer from United States
I was so excited to receive the scanner and also a free bottle opener from their company! What a complete joke looking back on it. A bottle opener, really? Then I would scan every single item and have to enter in a price and quantity and if I had a coupon. And I have a LARGE family. When I go shopping, I need a wagon to bring on 3 loads. So the scanning would take awhile but it was fun at first…
The rewards accumulate so slow. More so than other survey sites and they don’t make you scan in all your groceries for an hour. I don’t think I was even close to getting a cash out. It got to be ridiculous all that scanning and entering prices. So I eventually stopped and just forgot about it altogether. I have 5 kids. I hadn’t even thought about it again after I put the scanner in the drawer and left it. Then a year later I get credit collectors calling me everyday and sending me outrageous bills for this scanner that is so behind the times, I doubt the technology could even go up against my very first cell phone 20 years ago. I told them if you want the scanner back then come get it or send me a prepaid package to send it back. To be on their panel for almost a year including the mobile panel and all that time I put and to harass you and treat you like you’ve stolen their equipment!
But in all fairness, it wouldn’t be so bad if they updated their methods and technology. It shouldn’t be so hard.
