How Does SurveyVillage Work?

To start earning, you must register, which takes about two minutes, and then you have access to various market research activities to make from. And you must be a resident of Australia or New Zealand and meat be at least 16+ years.

Research activities

  • Online Surveys: Standard online surveys are offered, but sometimes you may be asked to view a video. Each time you do not qualify for a survey, you will be rewarded with 10 cents!

For paid surveys, you must first answer a set of qualifying questions to determine if you are a good fit for the survey. If you qualify, you get to answer the actual survey.

  • Telephone Surveys These may take between 2 and 30 mins to complete Telephone research is a research activity where an interviewer will call at your convenience. These interviews usually take between 2 to 40 minutes of participation time.
  • In-Person Group Discussions: A short screener survey may be required to determine your qualifications.

  • Mystery Shopping: A survey may be required to determine if you qualify. If chosen, you may be asked to purchase a product within a store and share your experience. You can often keep the product and will be reimbursed for its cost!
  • Accompanied Shopping Trips: If you are chosen, you will be taken to a store and asked questions about which products you would buy and what behaviors you would have within a given store. Compensation ranges between $30 – $150.

Testings

  • Postal Diary Studies: A short screener survey may be required to determine if you qualify. You will usually be asked to record your behavior over 7 – 14 days if chosen. The subject matter may significantly vary, and compensation depends on the amount of writing required.
  • In-Home Product Testing: A short screener survey may be required to determine if you qualify. The product will be sent to your home address. Compensation varies.
  • Venue Product Testing: A short screener survey may be required to determine your qualification. You will be asked to test a product at a nearby venue if chosen. The payment may be between $10 – $100 for your time.
  • Online Forums and Blogs: A short screener survey may be required to determine your qualifications. If you are chosen, the tasks required are similar to the “postal diary study” setup, except your answers will be listed on a forum or blog format. Compensation varies.

I was with the Shopper Panel for eight months. Bought and scanned for every single week of that time. Regardless of how much you shop, you only get 300 points per week. You also get bonus points of 500 points for shopping non-stop. The bonus points are monthly. Not worth the trouble. To get $20, you need just under 17 thousand points. (16 thousand and something) Getting 17K worth of points will take you 58 weeks of shopping. I spend around $150 per week. So $150 x 58 weeks = $8,700. on food. And all they give you as a thank you is $20. Thanks, but no thanks





Worst customer service and rewards order not delivered

I have been accumulating points by scanning my purchases for this company every week for more than three years now, and when the time came to redeem those points for rewards, I placed an order for some Visa prepaid cards. The order was placed back in April, and I still haven’t seen my reward yet. I’ve contacted customer service repeatedly asking about the status of my order, and I’ve received the same vague answer that they’ll get back to me once they have an update, which they NEVER did! So please DON’T waste your time with these people! They collect all this information about your purchasing habits and give you nothing in return!!!! Beware!

So $30 is too high, in my opinion – especially when it is a site like Cashback Research, where it can take a long time to get to that threshold. You also need to have achieved ten payouts to become a platinum member. With a high payout threshold and so few opportunities, that will take a long time.


Is CashBack Research legit?


Cashback Research is a legit site that offers third-party surveys, which means your personal information is given to several company sites so that you can expect a lot of junk emails.


My Thoughts


The cashback site says,” You won’t get rich, but you will get paid.”I think this is a true statement for most places like this.


This site is legit, but I think it’s a waste of time; the payout threshold is too high, and it will take a long time for anyone to reach it.


Like myself, many of us are looking for ways to make money online to supplement our budgets or create a successful business for ourselves.


There are legitimate ways to earn enough money online, whether to supplement your income as a side project or be sustainable and become a  passive income in time.


Of all the available ways, I think the best way to make money is online, and online marketing is probably the best.

Doing surveys online or participating in GPT sites are legitimate in most cases, but they are a big waste of time.


With the Octopus Group, they pay you for completed surveys, but the number of surveys you will qualify for is not known and even though they pay you $0,20 for surveys you are not qualified for, How much you can make is not certain.

Their technology is Crap & they keep blaming it on you. This is what it says & stays there forever.


“The survey provider has identified this survey as Technology Issue. Technology issue means the survey identified a technology-based validation failure.


This could be many things; accessing the survey out of the country/VPN usage are just some of the possible reasons.


Further info on statuses is available from Help/FAQs > Status Explained.


Updating your status… Please wait a sec”.


I received 6. emails saying, “we have a survey ready for you,” and the above message was displayed every time I attempted. Just a waste of my time.

I recently wrote a negative review on not being paid. A standard answer was received with no helpful information at all. I have followed all the steps advised with no positive result. I was told to contact the support center…that does not exist… could you please help me redeem the money you promised me.


I take back what I said.


It’s been over a week still haven’t received a payment for a few surveys I have done. Is this a scam, or what? Seems like a waste of time to me.

– A focus group that we would run outside of the community in an external venue during the evening would earn you up to $150 cash. We would reward you with cash at the end of a session like this and not pay you with points.


– We will email your point balance to you once every week, or you will see your total points at the end of each survey that you do.


How to Redeem the points?


Once you reach 1000 points, you will receive an automatic email that will ask you whether you want to redeem your points now or later.


Additionally, this option will be available in the email that will be sent to you every week.


Upon clicking “Yes, I want to redeem my points now, you will receive your Tango card link through which you will see more options to redeem your points.

How many gift cards are there to redeem the points?


There are More than 50 gift cards from which to redeem your points.


It will take up to 2 Business days to approve your request, and you will receive the respective e-gift card in your email.


NOTE: If you do not find the gift card in your email inbox, search your junk mail folder.


Once your points redemption request has been approved and received your gift card, you cannot exchange it for a different one.


Is Go2Crowd Legit?


Yes, Go2Crowd is legit; it is relatively new and was registered with BBB in 2014, it is not yet accredited.

From what I have seen on their website, they seem to be very straightforward.


My thoughts


Go2Crowd Survey is not a scam, and it is free to join. Surveys are usually not big money earners, and with the Go2Crowd  survey, this is stated on their rewards information.


If you have some time to spare and do not mind the small amount you can earn, you can join this site.


But if you think it is a waste of your time and would you like to earn more, This is possible.


There are many other ways to make money online.


However, success will not happen overnight; whatever area of making money online will take some time.

Good luck getting help

I have contacted them the best I can when there is an issue, which is a lot, but no help at all.


First, the site they give you, https://cint.zendesk.com/home, is not found on their site in the FAQs as they say.


The email addresses they give you for help will just tell you to submit a not on their site ticket.


If there is an issue included in their survey, the email they give you, admin@cintindex.com refuses to take requests and is undeliverable.


The “Contact” button at the bottom of their emails to me is “Crazy Domains.com.au” and worthless. I just took a survey that is not in the pending surveys.


I know it can take time, but it should at least be there. This happens a lot, and I don’t get all the points I earn because of their lack of assistance.


They also do not have a survey history of letting me see which ones I got points for or not. I asked about that two times in the last year, and two different answers, neither helpful nor the truth.

I’ve been using this site on and off since last year, I don’t do most surveys, but sometimes I will get on a streak of doing them. I’ve, so far, cashed out twice.


Both rewards were $10 visa gift cards. You do sometimes have to be patient and wait for them to have the gift card you want, last cash out,


I believe it took a week or so for the site to have the visa cards. It takes maybe 14 business days to get the reward emailed to you, but they always work, and I always do get them.
