Can you make money online?

Maybe you are like me, who wondered if you could own your own profitable online business; well, let me tell you that the answer is positive.

You can do many things online, some of which I have mentioned in a previous post. With some, it is possible to earn a good passive income.

Joining A MLM? be Careful

I know some of us to think that joining an MLM company and selling things, and getting people to participate with you seems effortless and an excellent way to earn some money, but as research has shown, this is not so.

It may be possible, but it is unlikely; unfortunately, 97% of all people who joined an MLM company have lost money; in other words, out of 1,000 persons who became a part of an MLM team, only three will ever earn any money.

This method of earning is simple enough that anyone can do it, but it has also shown that only 1 in 333 persons will be successful; it is challenging to see a profit in this business.

I was a member of Herbalife and Melaleuca for several years, never making 1 cent. I kept buying the products for myself because I liked them, especially Melaleuca, but I could not make a success of it.

With Melaleuca, The products are made from all-natural ingredients, which I loved but were expensive.

Melaleuca describes their compensation plan as an ‘opportunity for the average person to start a business with virtually no risk and unlimited upside potential.

 They then say it’s a system where people with no financial investment’ can improve their finances. All they have to do is refer customers to Melaleuca.

When joining Melaleuca, you are signed up as a customer, not as a distributor like other MLM; you then have the opportunity to refer others and build a business

. In Melaleuca, there is no difference between customers and members; the plan says that you’ll never have to sell products because ‘all products are sold directly by Melaleuca.’ this is correct only to a point

.While It is true that customers will place orders directly with Melaleuca. And there is no need for you to process orders or deliver products. But you still must find people to sign up as customers and buy the products.

Cost to remain Active

To remain active in Melaleuca, you have to order a total of 29  product points for every month, and try as I may, I could not get 29 points to value less than  $60-$70.00so every month, I had to be spending at least $60.00

It is noted that 66% of customers earned $0.00 in 2016; they only joined because they liked the products and not because they wanted a business.

I joined because I wanted a business. I liked the products too, but my main reason for joining was to start a business.

It is tough to get people to join because the price of the goods is very high compared to other brands sold in the store, and they can order just what they want without having to order to meet the 29 points.

You can start your own online business without the risk of losing any money; there is a tried and true way first; combine one of your ideas/hobbies/skills to find something you care about and figure out how to use it to solve another person’s problem.

Here’s what to do: Create a simple website. You don’t need any web or tech skills to make this happen.
