They randomly selected participants from the publicly available list of registered voters.
Once you’ve been selected to become a panel member with Mercury Opinion and agree to join, you’ll begin to receive invitations to surveys.
You receive an email gift card when you complete the second or later surveys. You can use the gift cards to purchase from popular retailers like Amazon.com, iTunes, and others.

Nothing indicates this site is a scam, but I do wish there was more information.
Amazon and iTunes gift cards are good rewards, but there is no indication of how often you will be invited to a survey or the worth of the gift cards.
There is no information on the frequency or average worth of their surveys. There is almost no information on any matter of importance.
They could invest some effort into making the site more useful to their potential and current users.
You will only get a reward upon completion of the second survey. Nothing is stating how soon the second survey invitation will be.
There is nothing to indicate this site is legit or a scam, and the good thing is you have to be invited to participate, and there seems to be no fee for membership.
So if you get an invitation from the Mercury Opinion survey panel, you could become a member, but it may be just a waste of time.
My Thoughts
As I have often said, surveys are usually not big money earners; if you have some time to spare and do not mind the small amount you can earn.
But if you think it is a waste of your time and would like to earn more, this is possible.
There are many other ways to make money online.
However, success will not happen overnight; whatever area of making money online will take some time.
