VIP Voice is a paid survey panel owned by the NPD Group, one of the oldest and largest market research firms in the world. In this post, I will be looking at Pinecone Research, this is another site that seeks your opinion on products, and you will be rewarded for your input through your honest answering to surveys.
What is Pinecone Research?
Pinecone Research is a research company that seeks the opinions of consumers nationwide.
Companies are seeking consumers input to develop new and improved products. Your opinions help and by completing our online surveys, your opinions will directly influence their products or services, and you will be rewarded!
Pinecone research gets these surveys done for these companies, in other words, Pinecone research acts as the middleman, but unlike so many intermediaries company you are rewarded by Pinecone.
Here is a summary of their business report from BBB
At this time Pine is not accredited by the BBB and has an F rating.
HOW IT WORKS
You first need to sign up. To do this, go to their homepage and click the ‘Join’ button.
On the registration page, fill out their online form with details about your demographic information, then click I consent and I would like to register.
Unfortunately, you can only register one family member per household. If you attempt to register more than one household member your membership will be canceled.
You will then receive a confirmation email informing you that you have been accepted as their new member. You will get a username and password which you will need to log in to your account in the future.
Participation is simple, a email notification is sent to you when you have a survey available. Complete the survey and earn points to be redeemed for either cash or prizes. Occasionally, we will send you a product to test, too.
As a member of pinecone research, you are free to take as many surveys as you wish. Their survey pays up to 3 dollars each, and they pay in 2 ways;
1.00 USD is the minimum threshold PayPal provides cost-free withdrawals to your local bank account as long as you meet the minimum threshold values defined on the PayPal Withdrawal Fee page.
This is the fastest and best method. Once you have completed a survey, you will be paid the following day (Monday – Friday). So if you take 5 surveys each at $3 today, you will get five deposits into your account the following business day.
Same as Paypal, but you will have to wait till the check arrives; it takes approximately two weeks.
MY Pros of Pinecone Research
You can sign up for free and try them out for free, which means there is minimal risk.
The surveys are fairly simple and the questions easy.
You have no fixed working schedules and no obligations. You will be taking surveys at your own time.
The amount of money earned is very small, it may worth some pocket money but not much.
Taking Surveys can be boring, very uninteresting.
You are only allowed one entry per household.
for multiple accounts, they will terminate and confiscate your money.
My Thoughts on Pinecone Research
Pinecone Research is a legitimate survey company, and they do payout, but however, you cannot be sure that you will get a qualifying survey.
Before every survey, you need to complete a pre-qualifying survey that can take almost as long as the survey itself and in the end, you may not qualify.
Which means, if you don’t qualify for the pre-qualifying questions then you don’t get the survey to complete which is how you would get paid. Also, you don’t get a lot of surveys to complete
Been doing surveys for Pinecone for many years and have had no problems. Customer Support has answered any questions I have had over the years, promptly and completely. Points have been credited within 24 hours of finishing surveys. Redeeming points could not be easier. You do have to get an invitation to join; there’s no signup page, but that came through another site I do surveys for. Have no complaints, no problems…it’s one of the few reliable and consistent survey sites out there.
First 300 points came in a check in order to confirm my participation. The next opportunities I accumulated points and redeemed for gifts on their website. Gifts arrived super quick. Great opportunity. I recommend pinecone research
Their recruiters are liars. The one who got me into this promised me a certain amount of money that I will supposedly if I get the 60+ points, and I did, but I never received that amount he had mentioned to me to get me into this. I later found out that they get incentives for every customer recruited, so it is obvious why they would mention a certain amount but would lie about it just to get you in. I texted the recruiter about the promised amount, but he never even said anything except to mention other things. I directly asked him why I didn’t get the amount promised, but he did not address that at all. I called their customer service, and they said that if the recruiter has promised a certain amount, they are the one who needs to deliver it. I would not recommend getting on board with them.
