Yes, this company is legit; it is owned and operated by a company called Horizon Media.
It is “the largest independently owned media services agency in the USA.” They created ads for GEICO Gecko, Capital One, and more.
My Thoughts
The company behind Finger On The Pulse has a reputable reputation,
.The rewards appear to be excellent. Amazon, iTunes, and Starbucks gift cards are definitely among the most desirable prizes on survey panels,
You will be able to do different kinds of activities. Taking surveys can get boring, which is why it’s nice to also earn by participating in live discussions and doing short polls.
But some of the comments by members states it is not easy to qualify for a survey.
The prospect of earning a lot of money is not good.
If making some decent money is not your goal, then you can try this site.
In most cases, survey sites tend to waste it seems that you end up spending valuable time doing surveys with very little to show for it.
There are better ways to make money online, but my favorite way is affiliate marketing,

The surveys are okay, a little long for the number of points you get. I probably get 1-2 a week. However, their gift cards are frequently out of stock. So, even if you have enough to cash out, you get nothing. I tried to unsubscribe or contact them from the bottom of a survey email I received only to find they’re not even links, just words on the screen. Do not recommend.

So since I joined FotP (Finger of the Pulse), I was chosen for special invites to win:
– Amazon gift cards
– Starbucks gift card
– a camera phone to record a video diary for an Amazon gift card
So I’d say they are pretty legit, you aren’t guaranteed to win every time, but you do get a good number of surveys and pleasant opportunities! When chosen, definitely finish every study as you would always do and see what happens; you are happening a young group of researchers helping other companies, even influencing movies
Panelpolls is a paid survey and opinion site for families, kids, teens, young adults, parents, and adults. Surveys cover a range of fun and interesting topics including new products, services, TV shows, toys/dolls, mobile apps & games, sports, trends, and more.
Members may also receive opportunities to participate in other paid research activities like online communities, focus groups & in-person sessions, mobile app and game tests, TV show pilot tests, and movie screenings.
Many people looking for a way and quick way to earn money usually think of online surveys to make money online.
