But does this site deliver on that promise?

Focus Group by Schlesinger is a data collection company that offers qualitative and quantitative research solutions to its clients.

Focus Group by Schlesinger uses research methods such as online surveys, online communities, webcam, in-person focus groups, and telephone interviews primarily focusing on the USA, UK, Germany, and Spanish markets.

How To Become A Member Of Focus Group by Schlesinger

The process is simple, accessible, and only takes a few minutes; you must be 18 years old to register.

You may only join the panel once.  Schlesinger Group reserves the right to refuse any membership applications not following their terms.

WHAT Questions WILL I BE ASKED WHEN I’M REGISTERING?

You will be asked for some basic information and will be able to create your log in and password.

Once your profile is complete, the process of matching your lifestyle and interests to one of the thousands of research studies we conduct each year will begin.

When a study that fits your profile is found, you will be contacted either by email or phone to see if you qualify.

How Do I Earn On Focus Group By Schlesinger?

You can earn Rewards points or Visa Debit cards for every friend you refer to participate in online and in-person studies.

You should receive all incentives within 6-8 weeks of participation, depending on the length a study is open.

 WHAT ARE FOCUS GROUPS BY SCHLESINGER REWARD POINTS?

Focus Group by Schlesinger Reward points are Focus Groups’ virtual currency; every 100 points have a value of $1.

These points never expire, as long as you’re an active member of the Focus Group community.

As long as you have any survey/community participation within a year from your previous survey/community participation, your points will be valid, and you can either redeem or continue to collect for higher incentive rewards.

IS MY INCENTIVE TAXABLE?

Yes. You will be responsible for paying any taxes due to payments that you receive from us.

You will be issued an IRS form 1099 to any member who receives $600.00 (or the then-current minimum amount established by the IRS for 1099 reporting) or more in payments from any one of our facilities in a year.

Rewards for in-person marketing research projects are given to participants via prepaid Visa card or check at the end of the session.

The Prizes you will receive are made known to you before taking the study.

Telephone Interviews are rewarded with pre-paid Visa cards and usually take 6-8 weeks to arrive.

Online Rewards Online surveys rewards are “Online Focus Pointes”  The average survey pays between 100 and 1000 points, equal to $1 to $10.

Panel members can cash out once they reach 2000 points or when three months have passed.

In-Depth Online Research Rewards are similar to “in-person” rewards and can come in different forms, i.e., gift cards, cash, or prizes. Once the study is complete, expect rewards to arrive within 6-8 weeks.

HOW DO I REDEEM THE FOCUS GROUP BY SCHLESINGER REWARD POINTS?

You can redeem your Focus Group Reward points once you have reached 1,000 points, and you must redeem them online.

Once you have accumulated enough Focus Group Reward points, you can redeem them for many fantastic rewards, in denominations ranging from $5 to $100 depending on your points balance at any time.

Each time you complete a screener or survey, you will receive one entry into the Focus Pointe Global Monthly Sweepstakes.

Each month, seven winners will be chosen at random. The first winner will receive $100, and the following six winners are awarded $25.

Winners will be contacted by email and are mailed an Amazon.com e-card in their winning amount.

Also, for each friend you refer, you will receive one free sweepstakes entry!

My Thoughts

Despite the advantage of Focus Group, the earning opportunities are infrequent; you won’t be called to a focus panel every week or every month because the chance is too limited.

So the possibility of earning anything substantial is nonexistent; first, it is not sure that you will be called to participate in a focus group or be qualified.

I participated in a 50-day focus group with this company through inspired opinions and have not received my fee.

I provided personal information, including photos and videos. I have chased this up several times with no response.

On 1/29/2021, I took an online survey that took over an hour and was paid $75 upon completion.

Now they claim I did not take the survey and will not be paid.

There was never any indication that the survey would be about the covid until I signed in to open the survey, so how would I know unless I was signed in?

I joined this survey site to participate in online/offline surveys, focus groups that pay you real money (not change but bills). However, I have yet to participate in focus groups/interviews and have been contemplating whether or not to continue participating just to see if I’ll be selected one day.

Yeah, they email you when an “opportunity fits your profile” is available. Still, it’s just that…an opportunity for you to spend time answering questions that you may or may not be picked for, and there’s no incentive for even answering the questions. Overall, the concept sounds good.
