These days most of us are looking at ways to make some extra cash, and quite a few persons are drawn to doing surveys online.
But is taking surveys worth your time, or are they just a waste, in this post, I am looking at MySoapBox,

Joining My Soapbox is very easy and it is free after answering a few questions, you will be sent an activation link.
Once you are opt-in you are ready to get started. You will receive your first survey invitation within 24 hours so you can start earning rewards right away.
How many accounts Are You Allowed?
You are allowed to have one MySoapBox account. Other members of your household may join, but there is only one account per person allowed also any member of your household over the age of 13 who has a valid email and mailing address may join.
How do I earn points?
You’ll earn points for different activities. The amount of points you earn depends on the activity you participate in.

More Ways to Earn
Members of the MySoapbox panel can refer their friends and family living in other households in exchange for 250 points.
Simply log into your account for your special referral code, which you can post on social media and share with your friends.
As well, if you are screened out of a survey, MySoapBox will still award you 10 points.
Survey Roulette
The MySoapBox Survey Roulette program is basically a survey router that will match you to survey opportunities across various survey providers.
For every survey completed through Survey Roulette, you’ll earn 1,000 points (which is the equivalent of $1).
As a member, you’ll receive emails with subject lines such as ‘You have been selected to participate in Survey Roulette 2.0’, which will link to these special surveys.
Alternatively, you can access these surveys through your account. You can keep completing surveys through the Roulette feature until you run out of studies available to complete.
You will be automatically invited by email, but there are other options for invitations such as text messages that will ensure you are alerted right away when we have something for you to participate
You will start earning points right away. You will receive 2,000 points just for signing up and points each time you participate.
How do I redeem my points?
You will be able to redeem your points for prizes. Additionally, after you reach your initial 25,000 point threshold, there is no minimum to redeem so long as you have enough points to cash in for one of our great prizes.
You can continue to earn as many points as you want. Once you have earned a minimum of 25,000 points, you can cash in your points for rewards.
If you are a US Resident and you redeem points with a cash equivalent value of $600 or more, you will be asked to provide your social security number as MySoapBox is required to issue you a 1099 tax form for that calendar year.

Is MySopaBox Legit?
MySoapBox is definitely not a scam and it has awarded hundreds of thousands of gift cards to its members.
Of course, everyone’s experience differs being a member of the panel, MySoapBox is perfectly legitimate.
Pros of My soapbox
- MySoapBox is available worldwide
- Surveys are usually available
- After the initial cash out of 25000, points the threshold is quite low
- There are plenty of gift card options available
- Each new MySoapBox gets a signup bonus of 200 points
Cons
- That initial cash out threshold of 25000 points takes a while to reach
- You can experience disqualification from a survey right up to the last question
- The company only offers e-vouchers and gift cards and there are no cash rewards
- As with all survey sites, There are plenty of surveys available, but you may not qualify for many of them
Conclusion
MySoapBox like most survey sites is not the most profitable way to make money online.
In most cases, survey sites tend to be a waste of time it seems that you end up spending valuable time doing surveys with very little to show for it
There are better ways to make money online but my favorite way is affiliate marketing,
While affiliate marketing is not as easy as doing surveys, and it is by no means a get the rich quick opportunity, it can be very rewarding and you can try it for FREE
For free you will be given 10 lessons which at the end you will have a good idea of just what affiliate marketing is,
And you will have a beautiful website and you will be ready to start your own online business.
Affiliate marketing is not the only way to make money online there are several other ways, and I have written a post about them

Very pleased and impressed
I am very pleased and impressed with the good customer service by my soapbox. Specifically by Kevin Moran Who provided excellent customer service and solution to the problem. He is very fast, efficient, and polite.
I wrote an email to support and received a response within two hours! I was greatly impressed with that alone and then within a short time after that, there was a solution to the problem and I was able to receive my reward points.
I highly recommend signing up for my soapbox. They have great customer service and are very mindful of the time you spend on their surveys. Thank you again, Kevin, and my soapbox surveys.

MySoapbox are a criminal enterprise – avoid like the plague…
Seriously, this is a criminal site. I spent months building up my points until I could cash out a decent amount and when I did, I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to process. A month later, no payment had arrived.
I contacted MySoapBox and was told that due to quality control checks, I would not be paid and would in fact also be blocked from the site. Again, they gave me no word that this would happen and I had to contact them to find out. Absolute garbage.
So I’ve been completely ripped off by MySoapBox and have no recourse to get the money I’m owed by them. I use many survey sites and this is the only one that hasn’t paid me. Incidentally they’re also the only ones who’ve ever accused me of not filling in surveys properly.
I’d advise anyone to avoid this site. There is an extremely good chance they WILL NOT PAY YOU. There’s plenty of better sites out there. Criminal sites like this will soon be out of business hopefully and good riddance
