VuPoint Research Survey Review Is It Worth Your Time

There are people looking for ways to earn some extra money, and taking surveys are the most popular ways people tend to go for but it is  important to know that some of these survey sites are only after your information to sell it on the web

I have done research on Vupoint Research and here is what I found

What is VuPoint Research Survey

VuPoint Research is a U.S. based company located in Portland, Oregon. They conduct market research for many different clients and companies and have a community with thousands of panelists which aims to gather many different types of research.

VuPoint.have no products or services to sell nor do they sell anything on behalf of our clients. Companies and individuals hire VuPoin just to gather opinions from people like you. Sometimes this is in the form of a survey, and often it is to recruit you to participate in an in-person research engagement, which is typically compensated.

How Does Participating in Vupoint Research Work

As one of the largest research firms in the region, studies are routinely conducted around the world on a widely varied array of topics. From consumer shopping studies to taste-tests, to product evaluations among IT Professionals

Variety of Research Opportunities

As a member of VuPoint Research, take part in online surveys, focus groups, one-on-one interviews, telephone interviews, and product testing! Research opportunities are on a variety of interesting subjects.

Focus groups and one-on-one interviews are great ways for people to voice their opinions about products and services

. A focus group is typically an informal discussion group with 6 to 12 “real-world” people. They are facilitated by a moderator to ensure all topics are covered, but most of the talking will be done by the participants in the room.

One-on-one interviews are just like they sound—instead of collaborating with other participants, you will be speaking live with one of our researchers. This can be done in person, online, or over the phone.

What Are The Rewards

We do our best to keep the research experience as enjoyable as possible for our participants. We serve refreshments at most in-person sessions and usually compensate participants financially at the study’s conclusion.

Occasionally we conduct uncompensated opinion research by phone or online, but with every study, you have the opportunity to have a direct impact on products and services being developed or updated, or sometimes even on matters of public policy.

My Thoughts

VuPoint Research is a legitimate site, however, I think it is not for making any meaningful earning if you are interested in making your opinion known in a meaningful way with the aspect of earning a little cash then this is a site for you.

But if you want to be able to make a living online then I would recommend affiliate marketing

Set up our station, hand a project to review and train on, we go through what our survey is about, then we meet with a supervisor that is running the project we are on. We then go through what they call is a briefing of the project, we cover what we read and what the project is about, who we need to contact, what time zones we are calling, the length of the study, rebuttals to keep the caller on the phone, keep track of breaking points, we then go over any words that need to be covered for pronunciation. Then we start the project and take the firs call.

We call business to households. I handle mainly business, you have to be professional and understanding we are calling them at work. Calling Households, you have to be professional too, but you can also be a little relax to show compassion, we are taking there free time and not paying them. The hard part of all this is not to take any thing personal and let things roll off, when we get that caller who may have a bad and does not want to talk to you.

What I enjoy the most is I learn so much from different projects we are working on and from the callers we are talking to.

Pros

We get to speak to people all over the United States, learn so much that way.

Cons

Hang up are the worse and keeping the call on the line.

The job is emotionally exhausting. You cold call 100+ people every day and ask them to take a survey. You are held responsible if they refuse. You could call 200 phone numbers and get 1 or 2 surveys. The constant rejection took its toll on me. I had to talk to rude, angry, suspicious people everyday. If you don’t get enough surveys they send you to these special cubicles that basically shame you into doing better (they are decorated with Hawaiian party decorations).

The supervisors change daily, which makes it hard to get a reference later. The shifts change weekly. You don’t have a set desk, so germaphobes need not apply because you will be sharing ear skin flakes with 100 other people on your head sets. It’s remarkably easy to get sick. Breaks are short, only 10 minuets. This is the only place I know that does that. Since they are paying minimum wage it seems greedy to shorten the breaks. Work is only part time, around 30 hours or so.

A bunch of kids work here, young environment. There is no drug testing. Interview is in a group setting. If you do apply and get an interview, read the poster closest to you on the table when you arrive. in the conference room. They will make you read it out loud to see how well you read.

Pros

Laid back, no drug testing, good for high school kids

Cons

Stressfull, rejection, no set seating, short 10 min breaks and 30 min lunch breaks, supervisor changes daily, boring work, pay is 9.20 here

  1. Hey Ruthlyn,

Getting paid for doing surveys is probably one of the most popular pastimes when it comes to people trying to earn a little money.

I have tried these in the past and found them to be a complete waste of time.

The number of times you would be given a survey only for it to be removed when you were partway through filling it in was beyond a joke.

Some BS like you didn’t qualify.

What makes me laugh are people who actually like them.

Thank you for sharing but this is definitely not for me.

    1. Hi Mick, before I found affiliate Marketing I did my time hunting the pennies in doing surveys, and it hurts just remembering the many times after almost reaching the end spending 15-20 minute to be told I di not qualify, but people desperate to earn a little money will do the survey, and they usually join several survey sites. I am so glad I found WA.
