Can I make money on Facebook?
A lot asks this question of entrepreneurs and others. I will attempt to answer this question, having had some experience with Facebook.
Facebook has over 1 billion active members using the social platform daily. Many social media sites exist, but Facebook is the largest and most popular social media site to date.
It would be easy to assume that because of the size of the audience, it would be effortless to earn money on Facebook, but this is not so.
There is a lot of competition with others trying to capture a piece of the market, and not every post is shown in a user’s Facebook post. So not many of those who follow you will see your post. Only 2% of your followers will see your post.
Facebook wants you to “boost” your post by paying for a Facebook ad to have your post reach more of the people who “liked” your page.
But you can make some money using Facebook free traffic, and we will look at how this can be done.
Choose Your Area Of Interest
It is crucial that before you start earning through Facebook, you must pick your niche first.
This will allow you to focus in one direction in this way If your focus on your niche, you will get to know your audience, and they will get to know you.
Check out this video on choosing your niche
So, you need to pick a topic you like and want to work on for the long haul because you need to do this method for a few months to have it work.

Choose An Affiliate Program
The next step is to find an affiliate; there are many affiliate networks like more details on affiliate marketing here.)
Affiliate Marketing, as stated by Wikipedia, is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate’s marketing efforts.
A commission is earned by someone who clicks on your affiliate link, which takes them to the product or service, and if they buy the product or anything else, you will earn a commission.
When choosing your affiliate program, select products relevant to your niche.
Be sure to promote a product you have confidence in. Promoting products you love and have tried will make it easier to promote them.
If you have not tried the product yourself but have done your research on it and are confident it is all it said to be, then it is ok to promote that product but remember your reputation is on the line.
It would help if you kept in mind that your goal is to meet the needs of your potential customers.
To achieve this goal, you must understand your target audience first. It would be best if you learned what they need or want.
To get an idea of the needs of your audience, The best way to go about this is by creating a customer profile. You can get an idea by using the Google Analytics tool.
You can also ask your audience what they want through surveys, emails, and comments from your blog posts.
Selecting A product
Always keep in the forefront when selecting a product, the product quality,
Never forget the product quality you’re promoting because this will affect your income and the level of trust your audience will have in you.
If you have not used the product yourself, be sure to check the reviews. Please take note of their return rate. If it is high, they are likely of low quality.
When choosing your affiliate program, I know we are tempted to select high commissions. Remember that higher commission rates don’t always mean the products are better.
Some products may offer higher commissions but are difficult to market. Here is a statement by one of our founders regarding the high-ticket item
If you are going to go the route of “high ticket affiliate marketing, make sure that you are promoting products with VALUE and that people are exchanging their money for a true value product/service. Like a fridge. Like a watch. Like something legitimate.”

Facebook Group
You can also join a Facebook group or start one to get more free traffic.
Many groups are advertising for members; choose the one that represents your niche; you can have a look through and see what the members are like and just what the rules are
Start your group.
To start a group yourself is easy, and If you already have a Facebook Page, Facebook asks you if you’d like to have a group to go along with it. You can start a group quickly by following these steps.
Go to your Facebook Page and click on the More menu icon on the far right under your cover photo. Choose Create Group; if you don’t have a page, use the arrow down (upside-down triangle) at the top right of the Facebook menu bar and select Create Group. And follow the instructions provided; you can set your own rules.

But in all honesty, I have found the best way to get an audience for free is through writing good content for your blog post.

Facebook is a great place to make money only if you are target marketing. I know when I was doing facebook marketing, I had some ads reach the .01, it was exciting and many people bought. This is a great topic.
Hi Eric Thanks for the comment, I have had a little success with Facebook marketing, not much but I still use Facebook to advertise my business, what I do not like is as soon as you build up your audience Facebook cut down the percentage of your audience that will see your post. and to me it is disheartening.
I found the information here to be very informative and easy to understand. Thank you.
